Starting Point has been identified as the lead agency for Out-of-School Time under the MyCOM initiative. MyCOM stands for My Commitment, My Community and is a network of organizations preparing Greater Cleveland's young people to reach their full potential. Through MyCOM, Starting Point supports the granting of MyCOM funds to existing OST programs to expand their capacity, improve program quality and increase the availability of services in the following eight pilot neighborhoods: Central, Cudell-Midwest, Mt. Pleasant, Parma, St. Clair-Superior, Shaker Heights, Slavic Village, and West Park.

Through the Out-of-School Time (OST) Program at Starting Point, youth are connected to services, supports and opportunities that they need to succeed as teens and young adults, enabling them to be ready for college, work and life. Starting Point works with agencies that provide a mix of academic, recreational and cultural activities for young people grades K-12 after school, during holidays and in the summer.
